Field Sales Executive – Merchant Acquisition

The Position Expansion Executive is responsible for onboarding new merchants onground onto the GrabFood platform. This includes initiating contact, building relationships, and ensuring a seamless onboarding process for merchants. The role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to merchant acquisition on the ground, and the ability to manage multiple onboarding tasks efficiently.

❖ Merchant Engagement:

- On ground to recruit potential merchants and introduce them to GrabFood services.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with merchants throughout the onboarding process.

❖ Onboarding Process:

- Guide merchants through the onboarding steps to ensure they are successfully integrated into

GrabFood.

- Collect and verify merchant information and documentation as required for setup.

❖ Collaboration:

- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., operations, marketing) to ensure timely and accurate

onboarding.

- Coordinate with merchants to address any questions or concerns during the onboarding process.

❖ Performance Monitoring:

- Track onboarding progress and provide regular updates to the Merchant Acquisition Manager.

- Identify areas for improvement in the onboarding process and propose solutions.

❖ Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

❖ Experience:

- Prefer 1-3 years of experience in merchant acquisition, business development, or a similar role.

❖ Skills:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in using CRM tools and basic knowledge of merchant onboarding systems.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Attributes:

- Proactive and goal-oriented mindset.

- Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with merchants.

- Familiarity with GrabFood or similar platforms is a plus.
